Word from Chad Reed's publicist, and Internet reports concerning the status of Ivan Tedesco indicate both riders will attempt to race Saturday evening at the opening round of the AMA Supercross series in Anaheim, California despite recent injuries.
Tedesco (Suzuki) has had more than a month to heal a broken hand suffered in Canada when he and James Stewart (Kawasaki) came together during practice. Apparently, Tedesco was cleared to practice by his doctor earlier today.
Chad Reed (Yamaha), meanwhile, reportedly suffered a fractured shoulder blade and chipped collar bone during the recent practice we reported on yesterday. Reed, according to a release issued by his publicist, will attempt to ride Saturday night, as well.
