The Mugello master, Valentino Rossi (Yamaha), was victorious in the MotoGP event held today at the storied venue. Clawing back valuable championship points against Ducati's Casey Stoner (who finished fourth today), Rossi led Honda's Dani Pedrosa across the line, while Ducati-mounted Alex Barros finished third.
