With the third race of the MotoGP series approaching this weekend at Le Mans, Honda riders Nicky Hayden and Colin Edwards really need to turn things around.
Both riders have had mediocre results at the first two rounds, despite excellent performances during pre-season testing, and high expectations. Round two was held in the wet, of course, which rewards smooth riders, such as Sete Gibernau and Max Biaggi (who finished first and second, respectively).
Le Mans could be wet, as well. Neither Hayden nor Edwards can afford to get further behind in the points, so they better deal with whatever the weatherman sends their way. Hayden and Edwards are currently 19 and 23 points behind 1st place Gibernau, respectively.
