The first race at Monza today produced a first-time winner in Max Neukirchner (Suzuki), with Noriyuki Haga (Yamaha) finishing second and Troy Bayliss (Ducati) finishing third. In race two, Haga crossed the line in first place ahead of a second place Neukirchner, with Ryuichi Kiyonari (Honda) finishing third. Troy Bayliss had a mechanical DNF in race two, but Bayliss continues to have a huge points lead in the WSB championship series.
