As naked bikes continue to get a large amount of development dollars from manufacturers, a rumor has surfaced that Kawasaki will introduce a 750cc version of its Z1000 naked later this Fall, as a 2004 model. The engine is likely to be a development of the ZX-7R unit, with the typical switch of cam shafts to provide more low-end and mid-range oomph. Styling should follow the theme set by the Z1000, itself.
