There are lots of mantras repeated by journalists. One of them is "Honda is too conservative with its styling . . . too conservative . . . too conservative . . ." Well, throw that mantra out the window, because Honda unveiled the 2004 production-ready Valkyrie Rune to a huge audience of dealers last night, whose jaws likely bounced off the floor.
What's more, the Valkyrie Rune promises equally outrageous engine performance with a hotted-up 1832cc six cylinder derived from the Gold Wing.

Although we don't have time to edit photos (we'll post more this evening), Honda also announced, as expected, a new 600 supersport (see yesterday's article with photos), and, quite unexpectedly, a 250 four-stroke motocrosser and 250 electric-start, four-stroke off road machine.
More later.
