German MotoGP Results

By Dirck Edge

Dani Pedrosa dominated today's German MotoGP event to take the first win of the year for himself and Honda. Finishing second was Ducati's Loris Capirossi, while Pedrosa's teammate Nicky Hayden finished third.

The series leaders did not fare well today. Casey Stoner (Ducati) finished in fifth place after experiencing grip problems mid-way through the race, while Valentino Rossi (Yamaha) crashed out of the race unhurt while attempting to make a pass early on. Rossi's bike was damaged, and he was unable to continue.

Stoner continues to hold the points lead in the championship. For additional details, results and points, visit the official MotoGP site here.
