Virginia International Raceway Superbike Results - Race One

Suzuki swept the podium at Virginia International Raceway today in the first half of an AMA Superbike double header. Mat Mladin cruised home with a comfortable margin over second place Ben Spies and third place Tommy Hayden. Spies continues to hold a points lead in the championship series with another race scheduled for tomorrow at VIR.
