Honda Product Blitz for 2008?

When you look at the number of new models Honda's smaller rivals have introduced in the past few years (Kawasaki, in particular, comes to mind), you get the sense that Honda may have a number of new bikes in the pipeline. Rumors are surfacing that this Fall will see a new Honda model blitz, of sorts, covering several categories (including both dirt and street). We have already reported on the rumor that at least one new V-4 engined model will be introduced (and perhaps two), but Honda is also due for something new in the v-twin cruiser category.

A production version of its automatic sportbike concept could also be introduced for 2008. Finally, Honda might be the first Japanese manufacturer to introduce a fuel-injected motocross bike next year.

We will keep you posted as we hear more rumors, but you can expect 2008 to be a big model year for Big Red.
