Honda’s Nicky Hayden won yet again in the AMA Superbike series race held today at Road Atlanta. In a race that featured, in effect, two races in one (following a red flag), Hayden beat teammate Miguel Duhamel to the line, with Suzuki’s Aaron Yates third.
With Yamaha’s Anthony Gobert injuring himself during qualifying for Road Atlanta (a broken leg), Hayden’s points lead is massive, and he is already in a position to cruise to the AMA Superbike title.
