After speculating that Chad Reed (Yamaha) might win every AMA 250 class supercross this year, following his stellar performance at the opening round last week, Honda’s Kevin Windham stormed to victory tonight in Round Two at Phoenix, Arizona. Reed finished second, with Mike LaRocco (Honda) third. Windham also posted the fastest lap time of the evening.
In the 125 Western Regional Supercross series, last week’s winner, Ivan Tedesco (Kawasaki), took another convincing win in Phoenix aboard his KX250F, with his teammate Stephan Roncada finishing second. Honda-mounted Travis Preston finished third.
Reed and Tedesco continue as points leaders in their respective classes. Round Three returns to Anaheim next Saturday evening. For further results, details and points visit the official World Supercross GP web site here.
