LaRocco and Hansen Victorious at Indianapolis Supercross

Mike LaRocco (Honda) won his home supercross race in Indianapolis, Indiana this evening after grabbing a rare holeshot. Kevin Windham (Honda) finished second in the 250 main event, with series points leader Chad Reed (Yamaha) third. Reed came from last place (crashing in the first corner). Reed continues to have a sizeable points lead in the AMA 250 Supercross championship series.

In the Eastern Region 125 class, series points leader, and champion, James Stewart (Kawasaki) decided to sit out the race due to a practice crash (he was not seriously injured, however). Winning the 125 main event this evening in Indianapolis was Joshua Hansen (Yamaha), ahead of Paul Carpenter (Kawasaki) and Danny Smith (Yamaha).
