Brno MotoGP Results

Honda’s Sete Gibernau dominated today’s Czech GP in Brno, leading almost the entire race and holding off a determined challenge by Yamaha’s Valentino Rossi, who finished 2nd.

The lead pack was a five-man battle for most of the race, with Rossi joined in chasing Gibernau by Max Biaggi (Honda) as well as Repsol Honda teammates Alex Barros and Nicky Hayden. Barros was extremely quick and at one point passed both Biaggi and Rossi to run in second place. He looked set to challenge for the lead before crashing out of the race.

After Barros’ crash, Hayden was left chasing Biaggi for 3rd, but the young American rider also crashed out, leaving the third position uncontested for Biaggi.
