Stewart Sits Out While Carmichael Goes for His 150th Win at Millville

Kawasaki made it official today that James Stewart will miss the Millville AMA Motocross National tomorrow due to the knee injury he suffered a couple of weeks ago in Washington. As we reported earlier, this will likely drop Stewart out of contention for the championship this season.

The Millville National event tomorrow is also likely the final AMA Motocross event Ricky Carmichael will ever race, and he has the opportunity to make it 150 career National wins. Without competition from James Stewart, there is a good chance Carmichael will achieve this goal.

Carmichael will also race the Motocross des Nations a bit later this year with the rest of Team USA, James Stewart (presuming he is healthy) and Ryan Villopoto.
