Yamaha’s Valentino Rossi greatly enhanced the odds that he will win this year’s MotoGP championship by taking the win today at Brno following a crash by defending champ Casey Stoner (Ducati). Stoner was uninjured, but leaves with no additional points to show for his efforts. Finishing second today was Toni Elias of the Ducati support team, while Loris Capirossi (Suzuki) finished third.
