Ducati And Yamaha Look To Dominate In Qatar

If you look at this evening’s opening practice results, the same riders who were strong in the pre-season look ready to lead the way in the opening MotoGP round on Sunday. Ducati and Yamaha are ready to go while the rest of the paddock, notably factory Honda, struggles.

With Casey Stoner leading the way on his Ducati and Yamaha’s Jorge Lorenzo half a second back, Ducati and Yamaha had five of the six quickest laps in practice. Of note, not only does Lorenzo look like he has largely recovered from the injury to his right hand, but Honda star Dani Pedrosa is still well off the pace.
