If you have been to the Netherlands, you know that the Dutch love their bicycles and you can find them riding everywhere. Apparently, Domino’s Pizza purchased a fleet of electric delivery scooters that has created controversy due to their silent operation startling bicycle riders as they are overtaken by the faster two wheelers. The solution was obvious to Domino’s, which you can witness in the following video.

American sized pizzas only fit in SUVs?

Dominos goes from sponsoring Indy cars to getting excited over an electric scooter with an obnoxious loud speaker. Like endoman says, maybe they should concentrate on making better pizza. Now that would be a real accomplishment.

Dominos pizza is 1 of my favorite pizzas. Yeah, their pizza is so bad they sell it world wide.

I agree Randy. Dominos pizza is good. Love the Philly Cheese Steak flavor.
They do sell it world wide it is a multimillion dollar business.
People in the video thought it was funny.

Can somebody explain to me why here, in the land of the free, nobody does pizza delivery on motorcycles/scooters. I live in TX and the two delivery guys in my area (residential) use a Lexus 300 SUV and a Ford F-250 4×4 to deliver the damn pizza. Hardly the most eficient vehicles around. Just curiosity…

Maybe they should concentrate on making a palatable pizza. Life is too short to eat bad pizza.

Interesting that they pronounce it doughminos instead of dominos pizza. These are your options on a silent electric scooter.

OK. I’ll accept it. Loud pizzas save lives.

Sounds better than the blattity, blat, blat, blat of unmuffled motorcycles and proves that all the noise is just to get attention.

I guess it’s better than having to say “On yer left” all the time.

I presume suicide prevention counselling is a mandatory part of delivery rider training?

Now we know why Harley tried to trademark that “potato potato” sound.

Seems like a natural for Little Cesar’s….. Pizza pizza

Well, that gave me a chuckle. The problem is what happens when thousands of scooters all have their own unique sound
Time will tell I guess.
