If you have been to the Netherlands, you know that the Dutch love their bicycles and you can find them riding everywhere. Apparently, Domino’s Pizza purchased a fleet of electric delivery scooters that has created controversy due to their silent operation startling bicycle riders as they are overtaken by the faster two wheelers. The solution was obvious to Domino’s, which you can witness in the following video.

Dominos goes from sponsoring Indy cars to getting excited over an electric scooter with an obnoxious loud speaker. Like endoman says, maybe they should concentrate on making better pizza. Now that would be a real accomplishment.

Can somebody explain to me why here, in the land of the free, nobody does pizza delivery on motorcycles/scooters. I live in TX and the two delivery guys in my area (residential) use a Lexus 300 SUV and a Ford F-250 4×4 to deliver the damn pizza. Hardly the most eficient vehicles around. Just curiosity…
