I love how the new ninja 300 has a slipper clutch and the honda 600 still does not, this is still just the same bike as the 2007, i guess in hondas mind it is all new, so aside from color changes, this is also the 2017 and 2018 600.

sure, they can do all that, but then comes the question of... are you willing to pay open class money for a 600...? no free lunch. that's for elementary school cafeterias.

Umm, WHAT?
Under engine exhaust,
LED lights,
IPhone quality dash(WTF?), and Ohlins esq suspensions make a truely innovative design?

If you are refering to the engine-as-a-stressed-member-chassis as a innovation then, it was innovative when Norton did it more than 50 years ago.

Novelty for the sake of being different ain't no innovation. It's wanking.

Is it me or does that lower fairing look like a carbon copy of the 04-05 CBR1000 lower fairing?

It looks bulky but I like the front....but still the same basic 600 design from 07.....and the same basically for the 1000 too from 08....

Times are tough for sure.... but me thinks that '14 could be spectacular for Honda

they seem to be holding their fire

Boah, Blah on this warmed over over Honda. Why can't any of the big 4 show any true innovation? Look at what the Italians are up to. Freaking Ducati probably made the worlds most beautiful motorcycle, Panigale. Big performance and true innovation.
The tired little CBR still has the under tail exhaust, very dated. Why not an under engine exhaust, LED lights, IPhone quality dash, Ohlins esq suspension, truly innovative design?
