Ducati Video Showcases Nicky Hayden Aboard New Hypermotard

The all-new 2013 liquid-cooled Ducati Hypermotard is the subject of an interesting video Ducati released earlier today featuring former MotoGP champ Nicky Hayden. Hayden, when he pays attention to the sport, is one of the fastest flat track riders in the United States, as well as a very skilled Supermoto pilot. We hope to bring you a ride report of the new Hypermotard soon.  Here is the video.

And Shagger thinks that was Grudge…

  4. Norm G. says:

anybody think it’s more than a lil’ wrong that xaus finds himself a security gaurd this time ’round…?

    • Gutterslob says:

There’s a whole lot wrong in motorsport in general. Xaus getting forced out, 1.6L hot-hatches in World Rally, Kobayashi not getting a F1 drive, Manx GP turned into a vintage farce, Dorna/Infront/Bridgepoint …..

  5. Gg says:

Anyone remembers what Ruben Xaus was doing on the hypermotard?

    • Gutterslob says:

Oh yes. Back when the first ever Hypermotard was released. Now that was awesome!!

Hayden’s not too shabby on a supermoto himself, I’ve heard. The vid is kind of tame, though. At least working for Ducati gives him free-access to Italian suit tailors.

I remember Xaus on the beginning of a Ducati Hypermotard…but he failed to consistently finish well on WSBK races he was in. He’s more a hot dogger than a top road racer. Of which I am neither.

Excellent video. Very humorous. Maybe Nicky has a future in Hollywood.

  7. John McDowell says:

Ah, to be young and in love…. with……
