French WSB Results

100613top-iPoints leader Tom Sykes (Kawasaki) scored a double win in France earlier this weekend to stretch his lead in the championship with just the Jerez round remaining.  The podium was filled out in each race by Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Eugene Laverty. Can we expect (hope?) for Kawasaki to re-enter MotoGP? I enjoyed seeing representation from more of the global manufacturers in the MotoGP field. The Yamaha vs Honda showdown for top 10 spots is not very interesting.

I don’t do modern day witchcraft rituals. Paint a blue horse, or for that matter, a blue Superbike on the cave wall and that’s just as creditable. On the other hand, a straight answer will suffice. There was talk, at one time, of Yamaha coming back to WSK in 14. Is that rumor still relevant?

Don’t forget the 8th and 9th spots that Ducati always occupy…
