MV Agusta USA Proud to Participate in MotoAmerica

BRISTOL, PA April 13th, 2015 – MV Agusta USA LLC is proud to return to the racing circuit in the USA and to be affiliated with the efforts of four independent teams.

The weekend of April 10-12, 2015 marked the first race in the new MotoAmerica series.  Four independent teams brought their dedicated efforts to the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas with pilots leveraging the stock power of MV Agusta’s F3 675, the same model seen in the World SuperSport (WSS) series.  Teams competed in the MotoAmerica Supersport class.

The teams (in alphabetical order) and riders include:

  • Team H35 with Benny Solis, Jr.:  Based out of Los Angeles, CA, Team H35 is affiliated with Moto Forza, an authorized MV Agusta dealer.  This is Benny’s first year on an MV Agusta after several years on other brands in various AMA Pro classes.
  • KrazeKris KK47 Racing with Kris Lillegard: Based out of Houston, TX, KK47 is affiliated with MV Austin, an authorized MV Agusta dealer.  Kris has previously campaigned an F3 675 and raced a Brutale 800 in the 2014 Pikes Peak race.
  • Veloce Racing with Hayden Gillim:  Based out of Portland, OR, Veloce is affiliated with RSRacecraft, an independent performance center.  This is Hayden’s first year on an MV Agusta after several years on other brands in various AMA Pro classes.  Hayden was the 2014 winner of the AMA Pro Supersport class.
  • Zag Racing with Javelin Broderick:  Based out of Las Vegas, NV, Zag is affiliated with Freedom Cycles, an authorized MV Agusta dealer and with Bellissimoto, an independent European service center.  Javelin has previously campaigned an MV Agusta F3 675.

As part of MV Agusta USA LLC’s contribution, approved teams have access to parts and components from Reparto Corse, MV Agusta SpA’s official race division. For the race at Circuit of the Americas, each team rode with a stock ECU.

This is a developmental year for racing in the USA; as the teams progress through the MotoAmerica Series, they will continue to provide feedback on the F3 675 and contribute to ongoing product development.

MV Agusta USA wishes these teams continued growth and success.
