450SX Class

  • Familiar Territory: Ryan Dungey has now won a 450SX Class Main Event each season he’s been in the class since moving up in 2010.
  • Breakthrough: The win in San Diego marked Dungey’s first in seven attempts.
  • The Streak Continues: Dungey extended his podium streak to 18 races, dating back to last season.
  • Podium King: Chad Reed added to his all-time career 450SX Class podiums record with his 128th top-three finish.
  • Legendary Status: Reed will make his 188th 450SX Class start on Saturday, tying Larry Ward for third all-time.
  • Parity Abound: For the second consecutive week, all six different manufacturers were represented in the top six. The same six riders have occupied those positions through the first two races.
  • Carrying the Load: The top six riders in the championship have provided all the points for their respective brand in the Manufacturers Championship thus far.
  • Patience is Key: Sixth in points is the lowest Ken Roczen has been after two races since moving into the 450SX Class in 2014.
