What an unusual qualifying outcome. Aside from the front two rows, everyone is all over the order.

Recent winners at the back, behind KTM’s & Aprilias. Weird..

Hmm, Dovi, Rossi and Morbidelli on 2nd row – Rossi with fasted Q1 time. This could be interesting.

Rossi in Q1 was 1.54, Marquez set pole with 1.49 dont be misled, by Rossi fast time in Q1. he did qualify 4th. Rossi is always a threat in the race.

Good chance of rain tomorrow. Anything can happen, and probably will.

What’s really impressive is that he pushes so hard that he loses points here and there yet is always in contention. Overall, its nice to see the broad range of riders/brands being competitive this year.

Marquez is an amazing rider/racer. Fantastic saves, pleasant personality, great work ethic. At 26, he’s now matching Lorenzo on wins, and Rossi on poles. I’m very much enjoying this year’s races, even though my favorite rider, Lorenzo, is still struggling.

Interesting bit about him going with factory seat instead of his preferred wider one and realizing it’s the right way to go.
