Valentino Rossi’s Secret Room – Dainese Invites Us to Look Inside

It turns out that nine-time World champion Valentino Rossi has been saving memorabilia from his racing career, including his long association with Dainese and AGV. Dainese helped Rossi produce a four-part video series in which Valentino discusses his career and the memorabilia in his private museum. Here is a brief introduction from Dainese, followed by the four videos:

Is it just me, or does it sound like he’s speaking Italian ? Without subtitles, sadly I’m lost.

  2. James Ridge says:

Thanks for trying to find something to fill the terrible space, March and no racing after 3 months of waiting

  3. Angelo M Ragonese says:

Me too!!!! SOOOOO DISAPPOINTED NICKY HAYDEN WON THAT RACE, BUT SEEING HOW HE PASSED AWAY A LITTLE TOO EARLY…IM FINE WITH IT. Little tid bit…someone in Valentino’s crew left his helmet in the hotel the morning of the race. Val took a scooter…in his leathers….back to the hotel to fetch it…race security REFUSED to believe he was who he was when he tried to get back in because he didnt have his credentials hanging around his neck…he pulled onto the starting grid with less than 1 minute before the start of the race….TRUE STORY

  4. Matt says:

I sure hope that he had those suits cleaned before he put them in that case. Can you imagine the smell????

I’ll watch these later, but its like Emelda Marcos’s shoes, I know he’s rich, he’s famous, I’m not. I worked hard and barely scratched out a life, and never was rich. Now, struggling in retirement, he’s filthy rich, and has ten lifetimes of extra stuff he’ll never use again. Its in your face, and ten lifetimes of it. Arg… not complaining, might as well take a tour of Trump palace. how much is too much.

    • Fred N says:

Could you be his man servant who has to polish the Cups and Trophies, clean and sanitize the leathers and polish the boots and helmets?
You poor fellow, your workload is now finally done.

      • joe b says:

No, I’m just some dummy who came to Caifornia in 70, and worked all my life. Happy to have a least some retirement now.

    • Mike says:

It’s likely he didn’t pay for any of it. Sponsors. It’s part of the perks of being the very best in the world at something.
I worked hard and am retired too. I wear a Vanson jacket (when the weather permits) I bought nearly twenty years ago.

Very interesting. Valentino is a great guy. I saw him race in 2006 at Laguna Seca.

  8. Apexologist says:

And this, my friends is why neon yellow cows are now extinct.

  9. Hot Dog says:

The dude’s got a serious hoarding problem. I really like the Bumble Bee leathers from 05′. I’d like to see his bike collection.

  10. Stinky says:

My wife has a crush on Val (as she calls him), I’m merely a fan. I hope he has another year left in him. Too bad he’s a lot skinnier than I. Love to have a couple suits!

  11. todd says:

Trying to cash in on merchandising. Sell you.

  12. Mike says:

Great timing. I’ll watch one episode per day during quarantine. 👍
Also, I can give a tour by appointment of my secret museum. It’s located in my attic, basement, shed and the top shelf of my closet.

  13. GT08 says:

Been there, what about the ZRX 1400 R
Hey everybody. What your dream bike you are waiting for ???

  14. GT08 says:

Thank you Dirck to change our mind today.
Now if you can find the secret room of the future 2021 GPZ 900R…

  15. DucDynasty says:

Somehow, I’m not in the mood to oogle his historical gear right now. I’ll save this and come back to it later.
