Suzuki swept the podium today at the AMA Superbike race held in Fontana, California. Finding his way to the top of the podium for the first time this year, Ben Spies defeated teammate Mat Mladin, while Tommy Hayden finished third. The first non-Suzuki was Neil Hodgson in fourth (aboard a factory Honda).
Mladin continues to enjoy a signifcant points lead in the championship series, with another superbike race scheduled for tomorrow at the same venue. For additional details, results and points, visit the official AMA Superbike site here.
