Yamaha's James Stewart won a hard fought battle with Chad Reed (Suzuki) last evening in Salt Lake City. Stewart took the Supercross win with Reed finishing second, and Davi Millsaps (Honda) finishing third. With one round remaining in Las Vegas next weekend, Stewart has a six point lead over Reed in the championship.
In the final round of the Western Region Supercross Lites, Trey Canard (Honda) was the winner ahead of second Jake Weimer (Kawasaki) and third place Ryan Morais (Kawasaki). Finishing fourth on the evening, but earning enough points to take the Western Region Supercross Lites title was Ryan Dungey (Suzuki).
