The WSB championship visited Brno in the Czech Republic this weekend, and Aprilia came away with its first race win in quite some time when Max Biaggi crossed the line first in Race 1 ahead of second place Carlos Checa (Honda) and third place Jonathan Rea (Honda). The two riders battling for the title, Ducati's Noriyuki Haga and Yamaha's Ben Spies had problems in Race 1, when Haga struggled to finish eighth and Spies crashed out after an encounter with Haga's teammate Michel Fabrizio.

Spies bounced back to win Race 2 ahead of second place Biaggi and third place Fabrizio.

Haga's WSB series championship lead was narrowed to seven points over Ben Spies. For additional details, results and points, visit the official WSB site here.
