It would be bad enough if Michelin brought the wrong tires to Laguna Seca, but is it falling behind Bridgestone in MotoGP . . . similar to last year? Statements by Colin Edwards and Nicky Hayden indicate this may be the case, and certainly Bridgestone riders Casey Stoner and Valentino Rossi are the quickest in the paddock at the moment. You can bet Michelin is hard at work during the break before the Brno round in a few weeks time. It doesn't help that Michelin's two top riders, Dani Pedrosa and Jorge Lorenzo, are both struggling with injuries at the moment.
