The Assen TT held earlier this weekend resulted in a second consecutive victory for Casey Stoner and Ducati. Honda's Dani Pedrosa finished second with Yamaha's Colin Edwards third. Valentino Rossi (Yamaha) re-mounted after a first lap crash to finish 11th. Nicky Hayden (Honda) had third place until the final chicane where a mechanical problem slowed him and allowed Edwards to pass before the flag.
