Earlier this week, Suzuki showed its dealers in Las Vegas a thoroughly revamped GSXR750, and a new, water-cooled DR400 enduro bike. Some of the dealers were told that the new GSXR750 will be “lighter than any of the 600’s currently available.” Considering the weight of Yamaha’s R6 (approximately 370 pounds, dry), that’s pretty darn light.

The DR400 is apparently not a YZ400 competitor – it is an enduro/off road bike, not a motocross racer. It is reportedly, however, very lightweight, and will be available as a licensable dual sport (with electric start).
