Recognizing the growing importance of the naked bike category, Kawasaki has pulled out the stops in designing the 2003 Z1000. With a big-bore, fuel injected motor straight out of the ZX-9R sportbike (punched out to 953cc), and a very light overall package, the Z1000 could set the standard for performance in the class.
Kawasaki wasn’t shy about styling the Z1000, either. Featuring the inverted forks many naked bike enthusiasts are looking for (annodized gold) the Z1000 has a mean, spare, Darth Vaderesque look.
U.S. MSRP for the 2003 Z1000 is $8,499. No word on dealer availability at this time. We will keep you posted
