Honda Displays V3R 900 E-Compressor Model at EICMA

Indicating that this prototype will go into production soon, Honda’s EICMA display shows off the 900cc electronically supercharged V3R. This form of supercharging promises zero lag, and Honda indicates the power from this 900 will approximate the power from a 1200cc engine. Narrow and light, this could be quite a motorcycle when it comes on the market.

Here is a brief press release from Honda. Many more details will follow, undoubtedly.

V3R 900 E-Compressor Planned Production Model

Honda will exhibit the V3R 900 E-Compressor Planned Production Model, featuring a proprietary V-type three-cylinder engine equipped with the world’s first electronically-controlled compressor for a motorcycle.

The model features a distinctive asymmetrical design and incorporates a titanium fuel tank, exhaust pipes, and muffler.

It also features an enhanced version of Honda RoadSync, offering new functions including an improved human-machine interface (HMI) for more intuitive operation and AI-powered voice controls.

Nice to see some new “V” work from Honda. Love the VFR series. Pick the exhaust up a bit to show off the single sided swing arm, and add a usable windshield. Maybe a “V3R” logo on the crank case for effect….. Lets ride it!

HOO CHI MOMA ! ! ! Now we’re talkin, and real wheel spokes too !
I am excited about this motorcycle. From the rear quarter view, there is nothing to complain about. Could use a nice pastel color that compliments the red valve covers. Seat should be flat and long.
This is special in my book. Would love to take it for a spin.
