Biaggi (500) and McWilliams (250) Winners at Assen GP

In a rain shortened 500 GP race at Assen today, Yamaha’s Max Biaggi just edged out Honda’s Valentino Rossi, with Loris Capirossi (Honda) taking the third spot on the podium.

In the 250 race, British rider Jeremy McWilliams (Aprilia) found victory over the Honda of Emilio Alzamora.

Rossi continues to lead the championship points standings in the 500 class, while Daijiro Katoh (Honda) leads the 250 championship race.
