Okay, so some of Oberdan Bezzi’s designs are pure fiction, and we try to point that out when necessary. Sometimes, however, he has actual, inside information on development of new models. Perhaps, this evolution of the popular BMW GS falls into the latter category.
Bezzi thinks a redesigned GS 1250 could feature more power, nearly 40 pounds less weight, and various chassis modifications to increase this do-it-all machine’s agility, without taking away from its all day comfort and proven versatility.

- I will take three of them, to start. One for my brother, one for my friend, and one for myself:-)
Then I will need a fleet of them to start an adventure touring/hunting/fishing camp in Northern British Columbia. Stu - Enjoy your website and insight daily. It’s about time somebody recommended BMW cut a little “fat” off the GS. The GS has gotten so big and heavy; soon Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman won’t be able to pick one up. Even with a support crew.
Funny, the new GS looks a lot like another bike rumored to be coming back, Cagiva’s Elefant. More good news from you.
Always thought they had the right idea before its time. Good riding, Jon - Looks more like intelligent design to me. Joel
