Marc Marquez (Ducati) continued his roll at Misano … right to the top of the championship standings.
Marc took the win in Saturday’s Sprint, with pole sitter (and new lap record holder) Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia) finishing second and Jorge Martin (Aprilia) third.
Sunday’s main event looked to be another scrap between Marc Marquez and Bezzecchi, but it didn’t turn out that way. After taking the holeshot and pushing the pace hard on the first lap, Bezzecchi low-sided (unhurt) and that battle ended. Marc inherited the lead and held it to the finish line over his brother Alex (Ducati) in second place and KTM’s Pedro Acosta in third.
Marc Marquez is now tied on points in the championship with Martin, but Marquez assumes the championship lead with more wins under his belt. The series continues next weekend in Austria.

I have a question. Who decides where to put the advertisements on the motorcycle and the leathers ?
No I have not posted this comment already.
Hop to it.

It depends on how many guys named Benjamin you have lobbying for you. Lenovo has a whole bunch of them. DID? Not nearly so many.
Believable, just the same when there are hundreds of smaller ones, arrangement must be a chore.
To my eye the above bike simply has too many. They become meaningless clutter.
I must say that I am a bit surprised to see DID on the Ducati. I don’t go through chains like I used to. When I did I always thought of DID as a decent workmanlike chain from Japan. I would expect to see one of the flashy brands on a Ducati GP bike.
Marquez has found his way inside Bezz’s head, after he (Bezz) crashed out of the lead on the first lap, right in front of his fans. Jorge Martin actually led briefly before slipping back, complaining of arm pump (not good, going forward). The championship is there for any of these three riders, making for an interesting conclusion to the 1000cc era.
