Rossi (500) and Katoh (250) Continue Winning Ways at Jerez GP

Honda’s Valentino Rossi won his third straight 500 GP race at Jerez, Spain today. After a lengthy battle with Yamaha’s Norick Abe, Rossi took the top rung on the podium, with Abe second and Alex Criville (Honda) third. Rossi has now won every race during this young season, and has a substantial points lead over Abe in the championship.

Daijiro Katoh (Honda) continues to dominate the 250 class with his third straight victory. Winning handily over Tetsuya Harada (Aprilia), Katoh’s points lead in the championship is nineteen, with Harada second.
