Ricky Carmichael won his thirteenth straight AMA 250 Supercross race last night in Las Vegas, Nevada, tying Jeremy McGrath’s win streak from several years ago. Carmichael won fourteen races on the year, and handily won the championship. McGrath (Yamaha) rode well to finish second ahead of Tim Ferry (Yamaha).
The East/West 125 Shoot Out was won by Yamaha’s Nate Ramsey over Travis Pastrana (Suzuki). Pastrana cased a triple heavily late in the race and appeared shaken on the podium.
The Outdoor National Motocross championship begins next weekend in San Bernardino, California.
