MD spoke with Greg Albertyn on Saturday briefly regarding his leg injury (broken femur), his recovery and his expectations for the first AMA 250 Outdoor National at Glen Helen on May 14.
Greg, as we have always found him, was smiling and upbeat. He said his leg was doing “awesome”, that he had been practicing for a couple of weeks, and that he expects to be “ninety to ninety-five percent” by May 14.
He is making no excuses about his ability to defend his AMA 250 Outdoor National championship for Suzuki this year. The speed of his recovery is truly phenomenal, and reflects his dedication to nutrition and training.
