The Stade de France in Paris was the site of the first round of the World Supercross Championship this evening. Yamaha’s David Vuillemin cruised to a ten second victory over second place Mike LaRocco (Honda). Suzuki’s Greg Albertyn, in his retirement year, captured third place while more than one lap down on the leader.
Yamaha’s Jeremy McGrath did not finish the race. No word yet on the reason for this — crash or mechanical problems. We’ll post information later.
