Reports following Mike LaRocco’s crash at last weekend’s Supercross race in Minneapolis indicate his wrist is not broken, but is severely dislocated with possible ligament and tendon damage. The injury is significant enough that surgery will be performed within the next few days.
Wrist injuries are a very serious matter for supercross/motocross racers. A wrist injury ended Rick Johnson’s career, for example. We all hope Mike can fully recover and be ready for the Outdoor Nationals in May.
