The MotoGP championship race in South Africa today featured a battle between Honda four-stroke teammates Tohru Ukawa and defending champion Valentino Rossi, with Ukawa eking out a narrow victory over Rossi. Third place went to Honda two-stroke rider Loris Capirossi.
Rossi has the championship series points lead after two rounds.
