Honda’s Nicky Hayden continued his string of victories in AMA Superbike competition by winning race two in Road Atlanta today. Hayden has now won five straight AMA Superbike races (going back to race two at Fontana earlier this year) and an incredible ten of the last eleven races — stretching back to last season.
Today’s race was a close one, however, with Hayden barely edging out Kawasaki’s Eric Bostrom. Hayden’s teammate Miguel Duhamel finished third.
Hayden now has a massive eighty point lead in the championship series over Bostrom.
