Max Biaggi (Honda) took the top step of the podium in today’s Germany GP at Sachsenring, followed by the Hondas of Alex Barros and Nicky Hayden. Fourth place went to defending champ Valentino Rossi on the Yamaha, while his rival Sete Gibernau (Honda) crashed out for the second race in a row.
His win today moves Biaggi to a close second in the championship points, with 138 points to Rossi’s 139.
