In an interview published in Cycle News this week, the head of Austrian manufacturer KTM stated that development of a V-6 engine for street bike use is already underway. Although undoubtedly several years off, a production street machine with a V-6 engine would be unique in the market place. According to the interview, this is precisely why KTM is doing it.
