The AMA Motocross series visited the extremely rough Thunder Valley Motocross Park in Lakewood, Colorado today. Results in the 250 class followed the usual script, with Ricky Carmichael (Suzuki; finishing 1/1) taking the overall win over Kevin Windham (Honda; 2/2), and Chad Reed (Yamaha; 3/3).
In the 125 class, Ivan Tedesco (Kawasaki; 1/1) took the overall victory and the points lead in the championship, while former points leader Mike Brown (Honda; 7/8) had a poor outing. Finishing second and third overall today were Andrew Short (Honda; 2/2) and Josh Grant (Honda; 4/5).
While Tedesco takes a slim 7 point lead in the 125 class, Carmichael has a massive points lead in the 250 class. For additional details, results and points, visit the official AMA Motocross site here.
