Despite so many pins and screws in his left wrist it looks like a construction project in an X-ray, Troy Bayliss is already one of the quickest riders in WSB pre-season testing on his Ducati 999 factory superbike (second quickest today at Losail). The former WSB champion says he was instantly comfortable on the Ducati V-twin that succeeded his own Ducati WSB championship machine. Bayliss won the WSB title for Ducati in 2001.
After struggling the past few years in MotoGP (first with Ducati and then with a Honda satellite team), it is good to see the talented Austrailian ready to do battle for a World title, once again.
