The German round of the WSB championship saw Suzuki’s Yukio Kagayama take the victory in Race One ahead of Yamaha’s Noriyuki Haga in second and Troy Corser (Suzuki) in third. Championship leader Troy Bayliss (Ducati) remounted after a crash to finish seventh.
In Race Two, James Toseland (Honda) tasted victory, with Haga finishing second and Bayliss third.
