The World Superbike series visited the Valencia track in Spain earlier today, and Ducati’s Troy Bayliss left with the biggest share of points following two second place finishes. Following a crash in the final corner involving leader Max Neukirchner (Suzuki) and Carlos Checa (Honda), Lorenzo Lanzi (Ducati) took the win ahead of Bayliss, with Troy Corser (Yamaha) finishing third. In race two, Noriyuki Haga (Yamaha) beat Bayliss to the line with Carlos Checa finishing third.
Bayliss leaves Valencia having added to his already sizeable points lead in the championship. For additional details, results and points, visit the official WSB site here.
