Yamaha’s rookie sensation, Jorge Lorenzo, began this MotoGP series with two pole positions and two podium finishes. He will start Round 3 tomorrow in Estoril from pole, as well.
So far, Lorenzo has not only been fast, but smart. He seems to know how hard to push during races without crossing the line and crashing. You can almost feel fellow Spaniard Dani Pedrosa pushing that extra bit due to Lorenzo’s speed. This is shaping up to be a very interesting MotoGP championship, but so far Lorenzo is the biggest story.
