The AMA Toyota Motocross championship visited Texas earlier today, and James Stewart again took both wins in the premier motocross class with Suzuki’s Mike Alessi finishing second in both motos. Finishing third overall on the day was Honda’s Andrew Short (3/6). Stewart is building a sizeable lead in the championship series having won every moto contested so far.
In the Motocross Lites division, Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto also had a perfect day (1/1), while Ryan Dungey (Suzuki) finished second in both motos, and Austin Stroupe (Kawasaki) finished third in both motos. Villopoto has the series points lead.
